Open air concert season Information
The castle grounds will open for each concert at 6.15pm, unless otherwise stated. Please bring a picnic to enjoy before the show begins. Please note that seating is not provided, so do bring chairs, rugs, picnic tables etc. English weather can be cool and / or wet at night, so bring warm clothing and an umbrella. IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY, private barbecues are forbidden. Only guide dogs are permitted in the grounds. There is access for the disabled. No children under the age of 16 will be permitted without an adult of 16 or over. DISABLED FACILITIES. Disabled WC in the Castle and Castle entrance. Guide and support dogs only, are permitted in the Castle and Grounds. Parking to offload outside castle entrance available for disabled and fragile Persons. PARKING. Parking areas are situated in Westgate, next to the castle. There is limited off street parking nearby. Please note: there is no parking in the castle grounds Disabled passengers may off load at the castle gates. MERCHANDISE. Band merchandise can be purchased inside the grounds. Don’t buy inferior products from touts outside the grounds. There will be beer, wine and food tents serving refreshments in the grounds. HOW TO GET THERE. FROM LONDON BY TRAIN: Kings Cross Station By road from the south AI North onto A46 towards Lincoln. Take the ring road around Lincoln. Take the turn off signed Lincoln North / Historic Lincoln. Follow signs to Castle.
